Over X Theatre Company operates under the umbrella of Per Ankh Cultural Organisation. Its work centres on devising theatre — building original performance from the ground up with a cast and creative team, rather than staging pre-existing scripts — and has been presented at festivals and cultural forums across the UAE and Egypt.
The company's productions bring together performers, choreographers, designers, and technicians from across the region to explore contemporary social realities through movement, sound, and image. Recent work includes ARCANA, presented at Shot & Sweet Festival and X Festival in Dubai, and The Quarry, presented at Bab El Bahr Forum in Alexandria.
